Discover Semirara Island: Where Pristine Beaches Meet Hidden Adventure

Semirara Island, Caluya, Antique is home to the largest coal mine in the Philippines, run by Semirara Mining Co and it is located in southernmost point of Mindoro. The island boasts stunning beaches, panoramic views, and a landscape where blue skies and blue waters converge. Here are just a few examples of Semirara’s natural beauty.

Reforestation and tree planting are two examples of how nature occasionally requires assistance. This is the point at which Semirara Mining establishes new benchmarks for ecology and environmental projects. Numerous trees that have been carefully chosen for their ability to adapt to the topography and soil conditions can be seen all over the slopes.

Numerous thousands of young trees prepared for future planting. The most remarkable aspect of the tree-planting project is that it is all volunteer-driven, with the residents of Semirara Island willingly giving up their weekends to give Mother Earth something she has never enjoyed on her parched island.

Originally one of the original coal mine locations, Unong Lake is now a lake and a migratory bird refuge. Fish and shrimp are stocked in the lake.

There are lovely white sand beaches all across the island. There is a beach here at the Giant Clam Hatchery that faces a lovely tiny island. The beach itself is a calm cove setting with fine white sand and soft waves gently crashing onto the sand.

In front of the clam and abalone hatchery is this charming tiny island that faces the shore. The Beach Resort is one of Semirara Island’s most exquisite man-made attractions. The Semirara Beach Resort’s main building, featuring a pool and lovely garden setting Huge, naturally occurring driftwood monuments with the most thought-provoking designs that nature has ever been able to craft stand directly in the middle of each garden, enabling every visit.
